EW Nutrition GmbH has acquired MLR Innovations, in a move that will bring the German technologies for feed industries into the U.S. market. According to EW Nutrition, the deal will also enable the firm to access new technologies for its international product line.
The company, to be known as EW Nutrition USA, will base its US headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa. Former MLR Innovations owner Mark Richards will serve as president of the company’s U.S. arm. EW Nutrition makes and sells food and feed products and additives globally. Founded by Richards in 2008, MLR Innovations produces animal health and nutrition products.
