Denmark feed ingredient and crop products company Himmerlands Grovvarer A/S has purchased a feed mill formerly owned by Aarhusegnens Andels. The mill, in the port of Arhus, went into liquidation in January. Himmerlands expects to extend its reach with the acquisition.
Danish feed makers DLG and Danish Agro took over Aarhusegnens Andels’ business, agreeing to sell the mill and other assets. Before its liquidation, Aarhusegnens Andel held shares of 7% to 10% in pig feeds and 10% to 14% in poultry and cattle feeds each.
