WEDA Dammann & Westerkamp supplies Russian plant

German firm takes on large-scale project

WEDA Dammann & Westerkamp has sold a system of its automized feeding units to a new, modern pig production plant in Adigea, Russia. The system includes feeding technology, house equipment, climate control technology and liquid manure removal from the German firm.

The 17 buildings will house 2,500 sows, 10,000 piglets and 20,000 fattening pigs. The unit has nine piglet divisions with one feed silo per division as well as 18 fattening divisions with 17 silos.
