Joint dairy workshop set in Wisconsin

Session held by two federal agencies

The U.S. Department of Agriculture and Department of Justice will hold a workshop on competition and regulatory issues in the dairy industry. The June 25 session at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is free and open to the public.

This joint workshop, the third of five, is the first to discuss competition and regulatory issues. Goals of the sessions are to promote dialogue, foster learning and hear from those with experience in agriculture. State and federal leaders are expected to participate in roundtable discussions, as well as farmers, processors, academics and others involved in the dairy industry.
