Archer Daniels Midland Company celebrated its Global Safety Week June 14 to 18. The annual event, which this year recognized the firm’s 32% reduction in global lost workday and 9% drop in global total recordable injuries, is held yearly to sustain a downward trend in injuries and reinforce a “zero is possible” belief.
The week focused on personal safety, contractor safety, process safety and motor vehicle safety. Employees participated in activities including conducting plant safety tours and meetings and discussing new ways to stay safe on the job.
