The USA Poultry & Egg Export Council elected Butterball Vice President and General Manager Joel Coleman chairman of the board for 2010-11 during its 21st annual meeting. He replaces outgoing chairman Don Ellen, Swanson Farms manager of customer relations.
Also elected to board leadership positions: Thierry Murad, regional product manager for North American poultry at AJC International, as first vice chairman; Duane Rhodes, Tyson Foods senior vice president of international sales, as second vice chairman; Jim Hoben, vice president-poultry at Interra International, will continue as secretary-treasurer; Mike Little, international sales manager Mountaire Farms, re-elected chairman of the group’s Market Development Committee; Neil Carey of Simmons Foods will continue as vice chairman. Chaz Wilson of Grove Services and Jayson Penn of Case Farms will serve on the executive committee as at-large members.
