Global Leading Foods HPP (GLFoods) has been formed, partnering with Avure to open a new High Pressure Processing (HPP) toll processing operation in Dallas, Texas.
The companies hope to answer the needs of a market that requires greater capacity to meet growing demand for HPP products. "By locating in the heart of America's food distribution network in the Dallas area, we hope to lower the cost for manufacturers to bring the benefits of HPP to their customers," said GLFoods Partner Tim Battles.
