TOPIGS starting new AI station in Germany

Renovations planned before 150 boars move in

TOPIGS has acquired a new artificial insemination station in Germany.

The station will undergo renovations before opening in the fall and housing 150 breeding and terminal boars. The boars, which will populate the new station in response to growing demand in the region, will provide semen for pig farms in the eastern federal states of Germany. Some semen will also be exported to Eastern and Central Europe.
