Dorada Poultry to open processing plant

Dorada Poultry, a joint venture between Tyson Foods and Lopez Foods, has plans to open a new processing plant in mid-2011. The chicken processing plant, which will be housed in a former Tyson plant in Ponca City, Okla., is expected to create 350 jobs for the area.

The chicken processing plant, which will be housed in a former Tyson plant in Ponca City, Okla., is expected to create 350 jobs for the area. The chicken will be used in McDonald's restaurant products.
