Delacon Phytogenic Feed Additives recently opened a subsidiary company in Moscow, Russia, the culmination of three years' work laying the foundation for its business in the country.

"Russia is a sleeping agricultural giant," said Delacon CEE Division Director Mirek Simerda. "This enormous country still imports a big part of its meat consumption, and the Russian government plans to be self-sufficient in meat production within a few years."

The office is located within the center of Moscow, and Delacon's Russia Manager is Emil Marecek. The company is based in Austria, with subsidiaries in Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, the U.S., China and, now, Russia.
