Hollison Technologies awarded new patent

Hollison Technologies has been awarded patent number 7,807,344 by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The patent covers the collection, detection and identification of contaminants in particulate food. The approach, according to the company, should enable particulate food to be sampled more effectively and efficiently than current methods. The patented technique is applicable for grains, rice, wheat, finished cereal, dry pet foods, nuts, spices and coffee.
