Aquafeed company Ewos, Norway, entered the feed market in Vietnam for farmed pangasius, through a joint venture between its parent conglomerate Cermaq and Vietnamese operator Anova Corporation. Ewos already produces fish feeds in Norway, Chile, Canada and Scotland.
Cermaq has taken a 51% majority share of the joint venture, named Ewos Vietnam, which will run the 85,000 tons/year feed mill in the province of Long Anh that was previously owned by Anova. Ewos Norway supply chain director Rune Vamrak is general manager.
