The American Feed Industry Association has expanded its staff to include Leslie Malone as the new manager of communications; Leah Wilkinson as the director of ingredients and state legislative affairs on the legislative and regulatory team; and Tracy Manriquez as AFIA's membership and communication assistant and assistant to the president/CEO.
Malone will be responsible for editing Feedgram and the AFIA Journal in addition to writing press releases and managing the Association's media presence. Wilkinson will be responsible for ingredients, pet food and trade, equine and U.S. Food and Drug Administration issues. She will also interact with state legislatures and feed regulatory agencies in Western U.S. Manriquez will support the membership and communication departments and will assist with the AFIA annual Membership Directory.
