Turkey poults hatched in the U.S. in December 2010 reached 23.3 million, up 3% from the same time in 2009, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Poults placed were also up by 3% compared to 2009, with 22.7 million net poults placed in December 2010, and slightly up from the November 2010 total of 22.6 million.
