BOCM PAULS retail volume up 12% over 2005 numbers

Company credits expansion to new products, services

United Kingdom feed manufacturer BOCM PAULS has reported a considerable increase in the level of its retail business in Scotland over the last five years, posting a 12% increase in 2010 combined feed retail volume compared with 2005. In addition, during the same period, the company almost doubled its customer base and retail tonnage of co-products.

“We are delighted with the progress that BOCM PAULS has made in Scotland during the last five years, at a time of considerable contraction within the overall livestock industry and associated supply sector,” said Grant Spittal, sales manager for BOCM in Scotland. “The key to achieving this success has been to introduce innovative products and services which combine to generate measurable financial benefits for livestock farmers.”
