Jansen, Skov, C-lines hold joint networking event on feeding world's population

Event held during VIV Asia

During the VIV Asia exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand, Jansen Poultry Equipment, Skov and C-lines held a networking event focusing on feeding the world's growing population.

Aviagen's international product manager, Dominic Elfick, gave a presentation to over 80 attendees on the increasing world population and their need for food, with particular emphasis on Asia's challenges. Asia makes up roughly half the world’s population and their need for food and water will increase rapidly, said Elfick, as will their space requirements for agriculture. Poultry, he said, is the best solution for the future in order to produce meat, since poultry requires least amount of water, feed and space.

The event also featured a post-presentation networking buffet.
