Animal nutrition company JBS United has re-hired former employee Grant Petersen as a research nutritionist.
Grant worked with JBS United from 2004 to 2007 as a research nutritionist before leaving to attend the University of Illinois to earn a Ph.D. in Monogastric Nutrition. He will continue to work in the area of swine nutrition to help producers improve the health of their pigs while maximizing their production and profits. While previously with JBS United, Petersen developed, coordinated and analyzed research trials, assisted in diet formulation at both the farm level and corporate level and organized and maintained a corporate feed formulation system.
