Cargill has opened a new crop input facility in Alberta, Canada, designed to accommodate farmers in the Peace River region with their crop inputs. The facility will mainly work with canola, wheat, barley, oats and peas.

The facility will mainly work with canola, wheat, barley, oats and peas. "With this expansion complete, we are now able to better accommodate the community and local area farmers," said Mike Witkowicz, Cargill AgHorizons farm service group manager. "Having a new chemical shed to provide customers with leading crop protection products and a state-of-the-art fertilizer blending tower fully operating prior to the spring season will be greatly beneficial for local producers in terms of time savings."
