German poultry industry soliciting trainees for 10-month leadership program

The Association of German Poultry Industry is looking for young professionals, interested in poultry industry leadership roles, to participate in a ten-month trainee program. The training, sponsored by Cobb Germany, Lohmann Animal Breeding, the PHW Group, Wiesenhof and Wimex, includes a DLG Academy and Giessen Institute of Agribusiness seminar and a practical role in ZDG member companies, providing participants with a framework for studying the requirements needed for executives in the poultry industry.

The Association of German Poultry Industry is looking for young professionals, interested in poultry industry leadership roles, to participate in a ten-month trainee program.

The training, sponsored by Cobb Germany, Lohmann Animal Breeding, the PHW Group, Wiesenhof and Wimex, includes a DLG Academy and Giessen Institute of Agribusiness seminar and a practical role in ZDG member companies, providing participants with a framework for studying the requirements needed for executives in the poultry industry. The scheme is aimed at young professionals with a college or university degree based on agricultural science or veterinary science, or alternatively with a college degree and work experience in the poultry industry; good German language skills are essential. Sponsoring companies give the participants a trainee salary and cover program charges.
