Tulip Ltd., a United Kingdom-based producer of pig meat and bacon products, has entered into a long-term contract to slaughter pigs at Scotland-based A. P. Jess’s Brechin abattoir in the Angus region of Scotland.

The new supply agreement is “very good news for Tulip, A. P. Jess and the Scottish pig industry in general,” said Tulip’s agriculture director Andrew Saunders.
