Kemin AgriFoods hosted a two-day technical seminar in June, at the company's new Belgium innovation and technology center, to celebrate 50 years in food safety and health through animal nutrition.

The seminar, "Generations of Innovation: Recent advances in safe, efficient and healthy animal production," featured doctors and animal nutrition experts discussing topics in safe production of animal food, such as controlling salmonella and campylobacter, as well as new technologies to control gut health and an overall economic perspective on the animal health industry.

During the seminar, guests attended a lunch on the site of Kemin’s new innovation and technology center in Herentals, Belgium. The facility added 1,700 square meters of lab space for Kemin's research and development teams, and also houses Kemin’s Product Application Department.
