The southeastern U.S. chicken chain Bojangles' Restaurants Inc. announced that private equity firm Advent International signed an agreement to invest in the quick-service restaurant chain.
As part of the deal, Falfurrias Capital Partners will sell its entire ownership interest in Bojangles' to Advent. The transaction, which is expected to close in August 2011, comes nearly four years after Falfurrias acquired the chicken chain in September 2007.
