Consortium purchases all shares of L’Aquaculture Tunisienne

A consortium led by SOKOTRA Capital Ltd., a Dubai-based private investment company specializing in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors, has completed the acquisition of 100 percent of L’Aquaculture Tunisienne (AT), one of the oldest and most established companies in the aquaculture sector in North Africa and the Mediterranean basin.
US Grains Council grant to contribute to training and education

Eleven Tunisian feed industry professionals left Fargo, North Dakota, recently armed with the education and experience needed to become trainers themselves – all part of the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC’s) goal of helping local producers modernize the feed and livestock industries in Tunisia and across the Middle East and Africa.

The Iran Feed Industry Association (IFIA) and the European Feed Manufacturers Association (FEFAC) have signed a memorandum of cooperation to promote the exchange of information between the two entities.

Aviagen hosted its 2018 Hatchery and Incubation Management Module of the Production Management School for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) during April 20-27 in Budapest, Hungary. Combining theory with hands-on learning, the module’s curriculum was designed to provide attendees with the knowledge and insight needed to achieve optimum hatchery performance.
