Dr. L.C. Hsia is Professor in the department of animal science at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) in Taiwan and Director of its Innovation and Practical Training Center. Occupying 50 hectares of land, the centre offers standard and customized training courses for producers of pigs, poultry, cattle and goats in Asian countries. Additionally, it trains farm staff on animal waste treatment and animal welfare.
