Controlling Salmonella contamination during poultry feed production requires careful monitoring of feed ingredients and commitment throughout the feed mill.
Monitoring of incoming ingredients for Salmonella, and the selection or elimination, based upon test results, is important. However, we must recognize that the raw materials entering the mill will occasionally be positive.
