Adoption of new technologies and innovations has played a significant role in the growth and success of the poultry industry. Innovative technologies have been developed by researchers and inventors to improve food safety, increase productivity, improve bird health and lower the cost of delivering poultry meat and eggs to consumers around the globe.
Global demand for poultry products continues to grow while consumers in developed markets are placing new demands on poultry producers for improved bird welfare, reduced use of antibiotics and reduced resource use. The 2019 Poultry Tech Summit will bring innovators, poultry industry professionals and investors together to accelerate technology transfer to the industry. This mix of attendees and presenters will stimulate conversation around current and future poultry industry needs as well as the technologies that can be developed to satisfy these needs.
Innovators
Sixteen innovation presentation were made at the 2018 Poultry Tech Summit. Clear Labs Inc. was one of those innovators, and Tyson Ventures recently made an investment in the company. Reese Schroeder, managing director, Tyson Ventures, was the keynote speaker at the 2018 Poultry Tech Summit.
There is still time to submit your innovation for presentation at the 2019 Poultry Tech Summit.
Innovators will be allotted 10 minutes for their presentations. Presenters must be willing to answer questions from the audience and from a panel of experts after their presentations.
Innovators must be seeking investment to develop their product for market or be looking to license their intellectual property to be considered in this category.
Technology presenters
New for Poultry Tech Summit 2019, individuals or corporations wishing to make a presentation about a significant advance in technology that may impact the poultry supply chain in the future may make submissions to be presenters at the Poultry Tech Summit. These presentations must not be tied to any product and should address a significant move forward in application of technology or recent research on a significant industry problem which may have a technological solution. Applications will be reviewed by the Poultry Tech Summit review committee.
Technology presenters will be allotted 20 minutes for their presentations.
The 2019 Poultry Tech Summit will be held November 20-22 at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
