The Termotecnica Pericoli EWD exhaust fan features a propeller blade designed for higher airflow and a patented shutter mechanism that improves on the opening of the shutters at an even lower RPM. The overall increase in efficiency of the extraction fans is the combination of increased airflow (15-20 percent) and reduction in power consumption (6-35 percent). The design removes all of the side thrust on the bearing for greater load optimization, which contributes to an extended bearing life and reduced drag.
