The Larson Electronics EXP-LED-HL-MX2 intrinsically safe LED headlight produces an intense light beam while providing up to sixteen hours of illumination and features five operating modes with a simple dome push button. Two high intensity CREE LEDs mounted within an impact resistant housing are powered by three AAA batteries to produce a long-lived light beam of up to 160 lumens in output. This explosion-proof head lamp includes an elastic head strap as well as an adjustable rubber strap to allow users to wear the unit directly on the head or on a hard hat.
This work light is constructed of an impact resistant engineered polymer that has been drop tested from two meters, an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with a scratch resistant coating, and an IPX7 waterproof rating tested at one meter. The right push button operates the spotlights on/off function while the left button operates the high and low beams in spot and flood mode.
