The Spring Chicken Festival to be held April 24, 2010, in Gainesville is a celebration of the substantial contributions of the poultry industry in Georgia. The festival features a chicken cook-off, rubber chicken relay race, quilt show, woodturning exposition, arts and crafts, live music and children's activities. All poultry companies are encouraged to sponsor and participate in the festival.
