Novus International idea assay

Novus International idea assay is designed to be less expensive than the traditional cockerel assay. The technology allows producers to evaluate and quantify protein and amino acid digestibility in their own labs and get an understanding of ingredient digestibility within 24 to 48 hours. The assay is available for soybean meal, meat and bone meal; distillers dried grains; fish meal; and poultry conglomerate meal, including by-products and feather meal. It can be used with the company's Cibenza DP100 enzyme.
