Alltech Ruminant Additive

Alltech's Optigen is an additive containing natural ingredients and urea that limits the rate of non-protein nitrogen (NPN) release from urea in the rumen, allowing for improved nitrogen availability, better use of NPN by microorganisms and improved ruminal fermentation. Optigen is an alternative feed ingredient to be used as a tool in dairy and beef diets, allowing nutritionists more choice and flexibility during formulation.
