The Crystal Diagnostics AutoXpress pathogen detection system is a fully automated, high-throughput platform capable of processing 300–400 tests in an eight hour shift. This antibody based platform utilizes liquid crystal biosensors to amplify the desired target for rapid identification of harmful pathogens. 

This product has a patent related to proprietary liquid crystal technology for rapid and accurate detection of foodborne pathogens issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
