Pfizer Animal Health Fostera has developed a PCV vaccine that can be incorporated into vaccination programs using either two doses or one to help prevent Porcine Circovirus Type 2 viremia and help control lymphoid depletion. The flexible dosing offers customers options for handling protocols that vary from farm to farm. The Fostera PCV vaccine can be administered in one of two ways: in two 1-mL doses, three weeks apart, starting at three weeks of age or older; or in one 2-mL dose at three weeks of age or older.
