Jenisys has introduced the Nedap Velos stand-alone version of the heat detection system used in its electronic sow feeding management program. The Jenisys Nedap Velos stand-alone heat detection system makes the advantages of automatic heat detection available to a wide range of loose housed dry sow systems, regardless of their feeding regime. This means that sows returning to heat can be spotted early, significantly reducing the number of missed heats and sow empty days while improving litters per sow per year.
