Pfizer Animal Health's Avatec aids pullet rearers in preventing coccidiosis with the active ingredient coccidiostat lasalocid. The coccidiostat is authorized for use from day-old to 10 weeks of age. Avatec should be thoroughly mixed into feed at an inclusion rate of 500g to 830g per metric ton so as to provide 75-125 ppm lasalocid sodium in the finished feed.
