Alpharma Triple-Sulfa Soluble Powder

Alpharma offers PoultrySulfa (sulfonamide), a triple-sulfa soluble powder combination approved by the FDA for use in chickens and turkeys. The broad-spectrum, water-soluble product contains three forms of the antibiotic sulfa: sulfamethazine, sulfamerazine and sulfaquinoxaline and may be used to aid control of coccidiosis and acute fowl cholera caused by pathogens susceptible to these antibiotics. The unique three-sulfa formulation offers enhanced potency compared to traditional single-sulfa products, while also providing a wider margin of safety.
