The BroMaxx broiler colony system, from Jansen Poultry Equipment, is designed to optimize broiler health, living standards, and to aid with harvesting. The key to BroMaxx's efficiency lies in the implementation of manure belts and FlexFloor slats. The manure belts lie underneath the broilers and remove manure out of the colony; resulting in increased hygiene and lowering the spread of disease. The FlexFloor slats provide increased physical support for broilers and increased ventilation. Both manure belts and slats allow for ease of harvesting.
