FoodScan

The artificial neural network (ANN) prediction models of the Foss FoodScan received AOAC approval for the analysis of raw meat and meat products for moisture, fat and protein, reference method number 2007-04. This approval allows food producers to more accurately match labeling specifications using an approved method. By using the same ANN calibrations for both labeling and process control functions, the user is able to confidently match labeling claims.
