Genetic “fingerprints” for over 219 genera and 1,440 species and serotypes of bacteria have been added to the onboard identification database. The automated system provides a genetic snapshot of any bacterium in less than eight hours. The system surpasses USDA guidelines and helps assure consistency in aseptic processing.
