Multivac’s new line of form-fill-seal thermoform machines simplifies and accelerates the cleaning process and offers other feature enhancements. One of the models, the R535, has an integrated Clean-in-Place(CIP)system which automates cleaning of component groups inside the machine. The standardized, logged process ensures adherence to predetermined cycles and dosages/mixtures of sanitizing chemicals. Internal component groups are cleaned automatically. Exterior cleaning, also integrated into the CIP procedure, is executed manually with an attached spray gun.
