The Douglas Machine Model VBW-1000 vat cleaner is a specialty machine for 400-pound or 600-pound vats and buggies. Vats are loaded onto the door, which raises the container into the machine, and the VBW-1000 cleans the inside and outside and returns it to the floor. A recirculating pre-wash is followed by a recirculating wash and a final sanitizing rinse. An automatic rinse diverter keeps expensive caustic detergents in the wash tank from being diluted.
