Alema Farms

Alema Farms is the second-largest fully integrated poultry production, processing and marketing operation in Ethiopia. It has its own parent stock from Holland, as well as cold storage and transport facilities at its sites of operation. Alema Koudijs Feed, a joint venture with De Heus of The Netherlands, is a growing, modern feed company for poultry, ruminant, pig and equine industries. The company's annual production included 400,000 broilers, 300,000 layer day-old chicks and 450,000-500,000 broiler day-old chicks.
