The Arab Qatari Co. for Poultry Production is Qatar's only producer of poultry products. The vertically integrated operation includes a feed mill, hatchery, 110 growout houses, a slaughterhouse and a facility that processes fresh and frozen chicken products. The group also produces about 60 million table eggs per year. The Arab Qatari Co. for Poultry Production is owned 60% by the Arab Company for Livestock Development (ACOLID Group) and 40% by the Qatari government.
