Noel headshotNaola M. Ferguson-Noel, DVM, MAM, PHD, associate professor at University of Georgia

Dr. Ferguson is currently an associate professor at the Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center (PDRC) at the University of Georgia. She received her DVM at the University of the West Indies followed by her Masters of Avian Medicine and PhD in Medical Microbiology at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ferguson’s research focus is avian mycoplasma diagnostics, epidemiology, pathogenicity and vaccination. In addition to research, Dr. Ferguson oversees the avian mycoplasma and molecular bacteriology diagnostic service at PDRC; she also regularly conducts workshops and continuing education seminars.
