Micronutrients has secured the listing of IntelliBond C (basic copper chloride) by the Organic Materials Review Institute.

IntelliBond C’s listing within the Institute allows for its use as a source of copper in both organic and conventional premixes, supplements and feeds for animals.

“Organic Materials Review Institute listed product suppliers and product consumers can feel confident the products that appear within the products list meet the highest standards for material inputs used for organic production, handling and processing,” according to the Institute’s manual.

IntelliBond C was the first member of a category of trace mineral products developed and introduced by Micronutrients under the name "hydroxy trace minerals." IntelliBond C was approved by the Association for American Feed Control Officials in the mid-1990s as new source of copper (basic copper chloride) for use in animal feeds. Since its introduction, IntelliBond C has grown into an industry source of copper in poultry, swine and ruminants.

Micronutrients CEO Pat James says, “achieving Organic Materials Review Institute listing of IntelliBond C is a further validation of the company’s commitment to produce high quality trace mineral products that add incremental value to both organic and conventional livestock production.”
