Hubbard reorganizes sales team

Hubbard announces reorganization of its sales team.

After 41 years dedicated to the development of the company, David Fyfe, global sales director, has chosen to retire at the end of December 2022. To be well prepared Hubbard initiated a gradual transition of responsibilities and missions in July 2022. 

David Fyfe graduated in 1981 from Auchincruive Agricultural college in Scotland. He then joined the Shaver company spending five years working in the companies R&D facilities as well as spells in their production and hatcheries before taking charge of their production facilities in France. In 1988 he was appointed to lead their business development in Asia. In 2017, after 36 years of technical, marketing and commercial responsibilities and experience in the field, and serving the company under various ownerships, David took over the Global Business Direction of Hubbard under the general management of Olivier Rochard. 

Bruno Briand takes over the responsibility of the global commercial department with the support of Mark Barnes in the Americas and Thomas Verrey in the AMEA region (Asia, Middle East & Africa) and maintains his direct sales responsibilities for Europe. Bruno joined Hubbard in June 2004 as head of planning and later on gradually expanded his activities to regional sales responsibilities.

In June 2016, Bruno was promoted to commercial director of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Mark Barnes took over the responsibility of the Hubbard LLC operations in January 2007. At that time Mark joined Hubbard with a former 19 years’ experience in another primary breeder organization in multiple roles including production, commercial, marketing and operations. As general manager, Mark oversees Hubbard’s operations in the Americas and makes sure to provide customers with the best conventional and premium choices for their respective markets.

The R&D operation in Walpole (NH) recently completed a $25 million expansion to enable the company to supply healthy and quality products to the growing customer base. Thomas Verrey joined the Hubbard sales department in September 2008 after which he gradually took responsibility for the sales in the Middle East. Drawing on his excellent knowledge of the markets, customers and the Hubbard teams, Thomas Verrey will now be in charge of the sales department for the Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region. Together with the local Hubbard teams, he will focus on strengthening the commercial development in the region and continuing to bring the best support to our customers in their specific markets. 

Olivier Rochard, managing director Hubbard, is delighted with this ideal transition assuring continuity: “David Fyfe has dedicated a very large part of his life with passion to our company, our customers, and our teams.
