Schenck Process Food and Performance Materials (FPM), acquired by Hillenbrand in September 2023, announced it will officially transition its name to Coperion by August 1, 2024. The name change reflects the integration of Schenck Process FPM into Coperion, an established Hillenbrand operating company known for its 140-year history in key processing industries.

The rebranding includes maintaining all existing expertise, team members, manufacturing sites, and technologies of Schenck Process FPM, ensuring continuity for customers. The company's flagship brands, including RBS, Stock, Baker Perkins, Kemutec, and Mucon, will continue under the new Coperion umbrella, offering expanded resources and broader technological capabilities.

Ulrich Bartel, President of Coperion, emphasized that the integration signifies a significant step towards diversifying and expanding the company’s footprint in the market. Matthew Craig, Vice President and General Manager at Schenck Process FPM, highlighted the benefits of combining strengths to provide a more comprehensive range of solutions and services to customers.

As part of the rebranding effort, the Schenck Process FPM website will move to a new digital domain under coperion.com. This transition includes updates to the company's web address and email formats to reflect the Coperion branding, with details available at coperion.com/fpm.
