Tennessee Pride has expanded its breakfast sandwich line to include its first poultry-based product, turkey sausage biscuits.
The snack-size item, the only such product available, has 60% less fat than the company's regular sausage biscuits. "We listen to our customers to keep our product offerings in tune with their changing needs," said President and CEO of Tennessee Pride Larry Odom. "The new turkey sausage biscuits are a perfect solution for families seeking a new breakfast option."
According to the company, Tennessee Pride has been expanding its breakfast sandwich business in response to consumer demand for hot, nutritious breakfast products that are low in fat. The idea for a turkey sausage biscuit came directly from consumer research.
