Oil-Dri Corporation of America names Dr. Ron Cravens president of Amlan International

Amlan International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oil-Dri Corporation ofAmerica dedicated to animal health and nutrition, recently appointed Dr. RonCravens as president of Amlan International.

Amlan International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oil-Dri Corporation of America dedicated to animal health and nutrition, recently appointed Dr. Ron Cravens as president of Amlan International.

"We are very pleased to name Dr. Cravens president of Amlan International," said Dan Jaffee, president and CEO of Oil-Dri Corporation of America. "This appointment reaffirms our commitment to advancing in the field of animal health and nutrition. Dr. Cravens' contributions to the animal health division have been significant. He has expanded distribution, introduced new products and opened up an office in Shenzhen, China to support growing markets in that region."

Dr. Cravens has served as vice president and general manager at Oil-Dri Corporation of America since 2007. Prior to Oil-Dri, Dr. Cravens was president and CEO of Novartis Animal Vaccines  in Overland Park, Kan. He held senior level marketing positions with Pfizer Animal Health and product development positions with Smithkline Beecham Animal Health in New York and Pennsylvania. Dr. Cravens has degrees in veterinary medicine, environmental health and animal science from Colorado State University.
