Carjacking occurs outside of Tyson Fresh Meats plant

Law enforcement officers are looking for two carjacking suspects, who allegedly stole a woman’s car from the Tyson Fresh Meats plant parking lot in Amarillo, Texas.

Law enforcement officers are looking for two carjacking suspects, who allegedly stole a woman’s car from the Tyson Fresh Meats plant parking lot in Amarillo, Texas.

The Potter County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) received a call around 3:10 p.m. on March 27 from the staff at the Tyson plant, stating that an armed carjacking had taken place.

The victim, identified only as a 50-year-old woman, was apparently sitting in her vehicle, when she was approached by a white male in his 40s and a white female in her 20s. Both suspects allegedly pointed handguns to the victim, and both allegedly were wearing masks.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, The suspects drove off in the victim’s vehicle, red 2008 Nissan Maxima with Texas license plate number KFY2509.  

As of the afternoon of March 28, the suspects were still at large, and authorities were seeking help in solving the case.
